a little bit about me
My name is Dene Bingham.
I live in a unique little town nestled on the coast of the Southern Ocean, in West Australia with my husband, three kids and our border collie Buddy.
Surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, I make the most of my incredible location and can always be found with a camera in hand. This unique coastal landscape that I call home is in my blood and it’s my passion and it’s my love.
I am a self-taught photographer and have always loved capturing personalities, nature, landscapes and everything I see throughout my travels within Australia.
I am extremely fortunate to be surrounded raw beauty. Each morning I look out from our little beach house which overlooks West Beach, Hopetoun. I walk before sunrise each morning, a time of the day which I love with a passion. I love to watch the light change and create movement in a still frame. Watching light play between reflective surfaces, drawing harmonious palettes, following motion and solar flare, and visualising the ways I can recreate a scene through a shutter and lens.
My images are available to purchase as prints. I am also available for bookings for portraiture, events, tourism, lifestyle, corporate, product and content creation.
My style of photography is inspired by our beautiful world, its colours, contrasts & textures. Our amazing sunsets & sunrises, the tides of the oceans, how they are forever changing & forging the amazing landscapes around us.Photography has opened the door to all sorts of photographic work, often encouraging me to explore beyond my comfort zone, encouraging me to grow.
Today, I run an established photography business, servicing the south coast of Western Australia.
I hope that my photographs will inspire people to get outside, explore and travel to as many destinations as possible.
